Trivia more popular than ever in #Ibiza
#Ibiza has been a very comfortable and relaxed channel over the past few years. Users from all over the world have come and joined us for hours of fun, chat and entertainment. Trivia has been requested by many users and is now in place in the channel. The bot's name is Elven-Lord or Trivia-Master - to play it there are a few simple commands. Kas Testlink
Kas.vic.au.austnet.org is the latest testlinked server for Austnet. It adds another Victorian server to netspace* and yoyo*. While the server is testlinked, you can connect to it at the address /server 203.89.192.254. You can also check the application at the AustNet server application centre.
New Website
What you are looking at is the eagerly awaited redevelopment of the AustNet website. New ASD Helper
Congratulations to outatime, who was added to ASD at level 10 today. Outatime has previously been an ASD helper, under the nicknames Luke/Delorean, and is making a welcome return.

Dreamflow Testlink
Dreamflow has joined tornado.no.eu.austnet.org as the second European server connected to AustNet. While the server is still being testlinked you can show your support by connecting to irc.dreamflow.nl. Check out the server application at the AustNet server application centre.
Austnet team started at Project Orca
Project-dolphin, the key stroke counting project born from curiosity, ended on the 17th of January. Shortly after, Project-orca was created to follow in its footsteps. Feel free to join the new Austnet team if you signup.
Dalnet under attack
The irc network Dalnet has been under continuous dDos attack for the past few weeks. As a result, many users have been unable to connect, and have explored alternative networks, including AustNet. Many have decided to stay, and we have produced an "ex-Dalnet user's guide" to help their transition to AustNet.
New Network Peak
On 20th January AustNet reached a new peak - with 13300 concurrent connections. Some of this growth can be attributed to gaining users from the recent DalNet misfortunes.
