One of the more R-rated channels on Austnet, #Bifemsex has a channel meet in Sydney on 24th April at the Bank Hotel, Newtown, 7:30 pm. More details can be found at the channel website, or by asking in the channel.
ASD Raises and Addition

Mikey returns after absence
After an extended period away, mikey (a level 200 ASD helper) has returned to AustNet. We welcome him back and look forward to seeing him around again!

New Routing site
Austnet today announce a complete revamp of the Austnet.org routing website. The new site includes an in-depth application system, and administration section, with the ability for users to make comments. Aka has been working hard on the site and his work is very much appreciated.
mIRC raises funds for Iraq appeal
For the month of April 2003 only, users who register their copy of mIRC will see 100% of the registration fee generously donated to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Iraq appeal.
New Subdomains
As of today, Austnet users will be able to access the support section of this website via the address http://support.austnet.org, and the community section by http://community.austnet.org. Chat users can simply type http://chat.austnet.org.
Farewell to Mission
Last night Mission resigned from ASD, for personal reasons. He will be sorely missed, particularly by our EU and US users who were helped by him in the early hours of the AU morning. Mission was a helper for 10 months with the Department.
New ASD helper
Congratulations to Webby, who has become the latest addition to the Austnet Services Department helper team. Webby has has association with #asd for some time, and is a welcome addition to the Dept.
